Puck Control

From product idea to working application

Puck Control is a product I’m designing and developing from the ground up to explore a problem I understand firsthand: how technology can make hockey operations more useful, intuitive, and actionable.

Unlike my work at Advarra, where I worked within an established product, Puck Control gives me the opportunity to own the entire product process — from defining the problem and mapping the user experience to designing interfaces, thinking through technical requirements, and building the application itself.

I’m using the project to push myself beyond traditional product management and become a more technically fluent product leader. I’m not just creating mockups of what a product could look like; I’m using those designs to think through how the product should actually work, what data it needs, how users will interact with it, and how the experience translates into a working application.

The screenshots below show that evolution — from product thinking and UX decisions to the interface I’m building today.

Product thinking. Technical curiosity. Hands-on execution.
